PCOM will host the Annual Clinical Educators Conference 2025 virtual continuing medical education program on Saturday, January 11, 2025.

Chaired by Erik Langenau, DO, MS, MAPP, the course offers a comprehensive program for medical educators and preceptors. The agenda covers a wide range of topics essential for effective clinical education, including precepting in busy practices, providing student feedback, addressing the needs of struggling students and incorporating osteopathic principles into clinical teaching. The event features expert speakers from PCOM and other institutions, addressing crucial aspects of medical education such as student well-being, graduate medical education updates and clinical competencies.

  • 8 Hours of AOA Category 1A if viewed live or reviewed by January 18, 2025.
  • 8 hours of AOA Category 1B for watching recorded sessions after January 18, 2025. One credit hour for each hour of content reviewed. This program is not approved for APA, ACPE, or CAPTE continuing education.

The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association of medical education for physicians. The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this program for a maximum of 8 hours of AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Pennsylvania Medical Society through the joint providership of Main Line Health and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Main Line Health is accredited by the Pennsylvania Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
