Training Opportunities

Cultivating Community at PCOM Certificate Program

Cultivating Community at PCOM Certificate Program offers professional development opportunities for employees and students. This program emphasizes creating a sense of belonging and understanding by engaging individuals in conversations and actions that support individuals from all walks of life. Participants will develop the tools to effectively communicate, support, and engage with a wide range of perspectives, ultimately contributing to a community where everyone can thrive.

Innovative Teaching Strategies

These workshops aim to equip faculty with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to create learning environments that benefit all students, ultimately leading to better healthcare outcomes. Participants will engage in various activities, such as case studies, role-plays, and small group discussions, to practice and apply the concepts presented in each workshop. Innovative Teaching Strategies is part of the larger Cultivating Communities at PCOM Certificate Program.

Lead the Change Certificate Program

Lead the change is designed to provide PCOM managers the opportunity to actively strategize during sessions, implement strategies after each session and provide examples of how those strategies were implemented with their teams in the following session. Sessions focus on mentorship, leading meetings, improving emotional intelligence and more. The Lead the Change Certificate is offered twice a year.
