“Receiving this honor is a testament to the entire PCOM community and their commitment
to innovate, educate, and serve the osteopathic profession and the patients we care
for,” Feldstein said. “This award reaffirms our mission to equip future healthcare
leaders with the tools to meet the evolving needs of our communities while remaining
steadfast in the philosophy of whole-person care.”
To honor the memory of American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Past-President and osteopathic
medical education innovator Dale S. Dodson, DO, this annual award is given out on
behalf of AACOM's Assembly of Presidents to a current or past CEO or Chief Academic
Officer (CAO) of an osteopathic medical college who has made significant contributions
to the advancement and support of osteopathic medical education.
“Dr. Feldstein and our other honorees represent the very best of the osteopathic medical
education community,” said AACOM President and CEO Robert A. Cain, DO. “From lifelong
service and innovation to leadership and advocacy, they exemplify the excellence and
dedication that define our profession. By recognizing their achievements, we celebrate
their lasting contributions and inspire the next generation of leaders in osteopathic
medicine.”
Feldstein was one of four award recipients honored at AACOM’s annual conference, Educating
Leaders 2025, in Arlington, Texas.
