A Thanksgiving Message
November 21, 2022Dear Members of the PCOM Community:
The Thanksgiving season offers us a time to reflect on the many things for which we
are grateful. Each day, I am grateful to be part of a College community whose core values perpetuate academic excellence and integrity, health and wellness, and diversity
and inclusion. Our values provide us with a unified perspective—rooted in our osteopathic tradition—that mind, body and spirit are interconnected. They inform our work and move us forward
to recognize the humanity inherent in each of us.
I remind you of the words from our anti-violence and discrimination statement:
“Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine is committed to cultivating an inclusive
and diverse community. We hold our students, faculty and staff to high standards that
respect and celebrate our differences while fostering appreciation for the qualities
we share. We not only live by these principles, but we firmly commit to working each
and every day, together, to advance them in meaningful ways as a College.”
Know that I appreciate all the good work that you do on behalf of PCOM and I am thankful
for each and every one of you. May you and yours enjoy a very happy Thanksgiving and
a festive holiday season.
