A Message of Care and Concern
October 10, 2023Dear Members of the PCOM Community:
The loss of life and outbreak of war in Israel and Gaza over the weekend is devastating.
Our hearts are with all those who have ties to or loved ones in the region.
We recognize that our students, faculty, staff and alumni have various perspectives
on the conflict. At the same time, we are all part of a shared community, one of empathy
and healing. As a community of scholars and health professionals, we remain committed
to engendering a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all.
We extend our assurance that our College will provide the care or comfort that we
can. Counseling, support, and mental health services are available to all PCOM students, faculty and staff through myPCOM and we encourage you to make use of these resources should you need
them.
