In this 50 minute virtual workshop, Lisa Corbin, PhD, Associate Professor and Chair, Program Director of PCOM's Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling program, will discuss ways to implement coping skills into our daily lives in efficient
ways. Join us on Monday, April 28, 2025, for this online learning opportunity.
Helping professionals include occupations that provide health and education services
to individuals and groups, such as in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, counseling,
medicine, nursing, social work, physical and occupational therapy, teaching, education
and more. Because of the care put forth in counseling others, helping professionals
are highly susceptible to stress, burnout and vicarious trauma. Many professionals
identify the need to create ways to destress and incorporate stress management skills
into their daily life.
