Joseph Harrison shares why he was drawn to the PsyD in Clinical Psychology program as well as PCOM's whole-person approach to health care. The College's commitment to interprofessional education allows students and faculty from a variety of medical and mental health disciplines to interact and learn from one another. Joseph further explains how an education from PCOM is preparing him to advocate for the patients and communities he will serve.
PCOM's PsyD program trains professional clinical psychologists to work in a broad range of clinical settings. Our curriculum emphasizes a holistic approach to behavioral healthcare as well as service to diverse populations. By utilizing skills labs, classroom sessions, field work and standardized patient interactions, PCOM develops practitioners to be leaders, advocates and clinicians in their communities.
