Debaecke shares how PCOM's forensic medicine program offers an intriguing mix between

on specific topics. The degree program also utilizes a progressive learning model
that continuously weaves together the disciplines of biology, pathology and forensics.
“We're continuously building on what we learn, and we're constantly referencing what
we learned in previous lectures, especially the biology aspect, to learn about the
forensic side,” Debaecke shares.
Furthermore, the program routinely employs experiential exercises such as mock crime
scene investigations and simulated clandestine grave digs. These hands-on learning events allow PCOM forensic medicine students to gain valuable
experiences in future career opportunities.
