DAREN WANNAMAKER, DO
Clinical Associate Professor

Originally a faculty member since PCOM Georgia's opening in 2005 until 2020, Dr. Wannamaker returned to the College in November 2024 as a full-time clinical associate professor in the clinical sciences department. As an osteopathically trained general internal medicine physician and board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Wannamaker has worked in a variety of settings: outpatient clinic, traditional outpatient/inpatient private practice, hospitalist, and flight physician for a fixed wing air ambulance company. His engaging teaching style, founded in the Socratic method, tends to focus on real-world application of knowledge base to prepare students for clinical rotations, residency, and ultimately as highly successful practicing physicians.
