Clinical Learning and Assessment
Our clinical learning and assessment centers provide learners with the opportunity
to practice clinical skills in safe, controlled environments.
The Saltzburg Clinical Learning and Assessment Center on our Philadelphia campus is an 11,000-square-foot facility featuring patient rooms,
an operating room, an emergency room/trauma bay, a medical surgery suite that can
configure as an intensive care unit or critical care unit, high-fidelity robotic simulators
and more.
At PCOM Georgia, the Simulation Center allows learners to practice handling a broad range of real world scenarios—including
taking vital signs, inserting IVs and delivering babies—in a 7,000-square-foot facility
housing exam rooms, a simulated operating room and other realistic training equipment.
The PCOM South Georgia Simulation Center at our newest campus location allows learners to develop essential skills in clinical
practice, patient care, child delivery and various other procedures and surgeries.
The facility features full-body patient mannequins, modern surgery tables, virtual
reality headsets, debriefing rooms and more.
