PCOM's Office of Diversity and Community Relations offers training opportunities for the College's faculty and staff in several areas of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Certificate options and workshops include topics such as communicating in multicultural environments, advancing DEI efforts in their departments, and LGBTQIA allyship.
PCOM employees are taught skills to contribute to PCOM's strategic plan for advancing DEI efforts at the College and the community. Participants have three options to earn the certificate by enrolling in workshop sessions or speaker presentations and completing an evaluation. Learn more about the certificate options.
PCOM faculty, staff and students are trained to become allies of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and asexual/allied (LGBTQIA) persons. Participants are given the tools and resources to create safe environments for PCOM's LGBTQIA community members or visitors to the College. Learn more.
