Phyllis B. Taylor is a Correctional Chaplain in the Philadelphia Prison system. She is also a Registered Nurse and Certified Grief Facilitator. In the prison she works as a Chaplain for those who are ill, those with complicated grief and as an interfaith Chaplain. Her experience in the field of Death and Dying: Life and Living covers over 40 years. Phyllis has published many articles and chapters in books, has been on TV and in videos and has lectured throughout the country. She is also a community organizer and works to combine her concerns about social justice and her concerns about health care and corrections.
