A school psychology program candidate who currently holds a graduate degree in psychology or a related field may be eligible to have up to 30 credits or graduate work transferred towards the School Psychology PsyD degree program (see transfer policy). Typically this does not impact students’ time to completion, rather it reduces the total number of credits and total program tuition required. However, a student who has met requirements for state certification as a school psychologist through previous graduate training may be eligible for the opportunity to complete the program in 4 years, if sufficient course content and competencies have been met. No previous field training is eligible for transfer.
