This holistic approach provides an invaluable foundation to help you better serve those who seek care.
During our 26-month program, you'll receive comprehensive classroom instruction in preparation for your clinical work. Students work with patient actors and use advanced technologies in hands-on experiences designed to help you develop the communication and problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in the field.
Our clinical rotations provide future PAs with experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, gynecology, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics and behavioral medicine. Students also have the opportunity to pursue elective rotations in orthopedics, dermatology, trauma and cardiology.

Physician assistants may work in family or internal medicine, but you can also find them in specialties including surgery, emergency medicine, psychiatry, dermatology and many more.
As of May 2022, more than 4,950 physician assistants were employed in Georgia with an annual mean wage of $113,260.
The career outlook for physician assistants across the United States is positive. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment of PAs is projected to grow 27 percent from 2022 to 2032. Compensation for PAs is also attractive with the BLS reporting median annual wages in 2022 of $126,010.
