During the 26-month program, students will prepare for careers as physician assistants
through lectures, laboratory classes and clinical rotations where students will develop
technical proficiency along with communication and problem-solving skills.
What courses will I take as a PA student?
MS program courses may include:
- medicine, law and health care ethics
- pathology
- clinical medicine
- pharmacology
- behavioral medicine and psychiatry
Students also participate in interprofessional education (IPE) courses in which PA students work with students in PCOM Georgia's other healthcare programs
to discuss and investigate approaches to solving healthcare issues as a collaborative
team.
